The look of the car itself has been improved thanks to the redesign. It appears less top heavy as Kia has somewhat “evened out” the dimensions. This also opens up more interior space for the Soul, something that no consumer is going to argue with.
As for the ride itself – you guessed it – improvements have been made. This is possible thanks to what Kia has said is a 29% stiffer chassis. The engines have also been tweaked a bit, with the 1.6-liter four-cylinder available as well as a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a little more pop. And thanks to ultra-high-strength steel throughout the shell of the new Soul, passengers will be safe as they enjoy their new ride.
