Speed and Acceleration

A twin-turbo 3.3L V6 powers the 2021 Stinger GT, GT1, and GT2. Models with this engine have a top speed of 167 mph and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds. For comparison, the 2021 Camaro SS with a 6.2L V8 does 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds, only 0.7 seconds faster than the less-expensive 2021 Stinger GT 3.3L V6. Official numbers for the base 2021 Stinger GT-Line trim are unavailable.

Powertrain Options

The 2021 Stinger comes with one of two engines. The base model GT-Line trim has a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that produces 255 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. As mentioned above, the GT, GT1, and GT2 have the twin-turbo 3.3L V6. It pumps out 365 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. All models comes standard with RWD, but have available AWD. The four-cylinder engine gets an EPA-estimated 22-city/29-highway mpg with RWD and 21-city/29-highway mpg with AWD. The V6 is rated at 17-city/25-highway mpg for both its RWD and AWD models.
