Performance Specs, Cargo Volume and Available Technology

The 2021 Kia Sportage is available in four trim grades LX, S, EX and SX Turbo. Buyers interested in the LX, S or EX models will be equipped with a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter, inline four-cylinder engine that will be attached to a six-speed automatic transmission. It will make 181 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. Customers looking for more power can choose the SX Turbo model that will have a turbocharged 2.0-liter, inline four-cylinder engine that also employs a six-speed automatic transmission. The SX Turbo will make up the 240 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Both engines can be equipped with front- or all-wheel-drive.

All versions of the 2021 Kia Sportage will be able to tow up to 2,000 pounds if the trailer is equipped with brakes.

Like its predecessors, the 2021 Kia Sportage offers two rows of seats that can hold up to five passengers.
