Kia makes waves with 2014 Soul Electric announcement

Electric 2014 Kia Soul

Hot off the heels of the release of the 2014 Kia Soul, the brand dropped another bombshell that is sure to keep people intrigued for some time. The announcement was made that there will be an electric version of the 2014 Kia Soul. Quite obviously, a 2014 Kia Soul Electric will resonate with consumers all over the country.

The only snag in the announcement appears to be that the new Soul electric will only be available in select markets in 2014. Does that include Kenosha to get Palmen Kia in on the fun? We’ll have to wait and see.

It seems that the electric 2014 Kia Soul was the next logical step for the Kia brand. Long known for its outstanding fuel efficiency, Kia is really in a league of its own when it comes to combining that efficiency with cars that people really love to drive. Now, the efficiency appears to be hitting the next level with a vehicle that won’t have any use for traditional gasoline.

In addition to the obvious advantages of being electric, the 2014 Kia Soul already has more going on for the eco-conscious among us. The new Soul available now is made with 85% recycled materials, meaning it is already a winner in the “green” world.

Unfortunately, in addition to the unknown nature of the availability of the Kia Soul electric, we also don’t know any of the pertinent stats on the vehicle. This includes the all-important MPGe and range ratings that every electric vehicle shopper needs to know.

While we wait, we are still proud to offer an outstanding selection of new Kias here at Palmen Kia. Check out our selection and see why so many consumers from southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois choose to shop for a new vehicle with us.
