The Kia Optima Hybrid provides better driving dynamics with more engine power, interior features, and its lower frame. Meanwhile, the Kia Niro is more affordable and fuel-efficient but sacrifices a bit of the luxury and power offered by the more upscale Optima model. Additionally, we would like to see all-wheel drive to be added as an option for the Niro in the near future.
It should be noted that additional fuel efficiency, and even complete independence from gas, can be found through available variations on the Kia Niro and Kia Optima models.
The Kia Niro is also available in a PHEV (plug-in hybrid) model and an EV (electric vehicle) model.
The Kia Optima is also available in a standard gasoline model and a PHEV (plug-in hybrid) model.
