2016 Kia Telluride Concept Release Date US

This year at the Detroit auto show, Kia’s design team showed us a gorgeous new vehicle. It features seating for up to seven passengers and is a hybrid, making it an exciting possibility for the future. Although the Telluride is only a concept vehicle for the time being, Kia is known for turning its concept designs into production vehicles. Kia Telluride Engine and Motor Specs

Built on the foundation of the 2016 Sorento, the Telluride is 9.5 inches longer overall, with a 11.9 inch longer and 4.5-inch wide wheelbase. The full-size SUV is also 4.4 inches taller than the midsize SUV. The design and front-end seems more like that of a pickup truck, Kia is calling it a Tiger Nose.

Under the hood, the Telluride features a 270 horsepower, 3.6-liter V6 engine paired with a 130-hp electric motors. It is said that the SUV delivers more than 30 miles per gallon on the highway in all-wheel drive.

Inside the 2016 Kia Telluride, you will find a variety of new technology and design features. One of the more interested in the all new Swipe Command. This thin and touch-sensitive band is mounted to the second-row center console. It allows rear-seat passengers to control and select their media preferences using hand motions. Another fun feature allows for wireless headphones and smartphones to charge wirelessly in a special compartment of the center stack.
