So last week, the 2016 Kia Optima was revealed at the New York Auto Show and it’s looking pretty great. We are all excited about the 2016 Kia Optima that was introduced at the New York Auto Show and it’s for good reason. The redesigned interior and exterior may not look entirely different from the previous year’s, but the improvements made were not without benefit.

The entire vehicle was lengthened to create a more spacious cabin. Kia designers wanted to offer drivers more head, shoulder, and rear leg space. More space in the cabin means a more enjoyable driving experience, and more room for activities!

What sort of activities are available in the 2016 Kia Optima? Well, looking back at last year’s model, things like Bluetooth connectivity and the front LCD screen will be added to and improved. The overall look of the larger center console is more simplistic with a decreased number of buttons and controls for easier use.

The engines seem to have lost a little of their previous power, but Kia engineers were quick to explain that their focus was on fuel efficiency and creating smaller engines that were more capable. Perhaps the loss in engine size will turn out to be an improvement for the average driver who is looking to save some money at the gas pump.
