What’s new on the 2019 Kia Soul?

There are few vehicles as iconic and unique as the Kia Soul. From its cubic shape to its bright color options, the Soul is made to stand out. Beginning with the new, the 2019 Kia Soul now comes standard with a 5-inch touchscreen, a rearview camera, and voice recognition capabilities, all of which were only available as options on the previous model year.

Technology & Comfort

In addition to the new standard additions, the 2019 Kia Soul has plenty of technology and comfort features for you to be aware of. Standard elements include Bluetooth® wireless technology, USB charging port, adjustable driver’s seat, and more. More advanced features are available and include leather seating, heated front seats, Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Smart Cruise Control, and LED interior lighting, among many others.

Performance & Efficiency

The Kia Soul is equipped with three different engine options. The base 1.6-liter I-4 can deliver 161 horsepower, while the next trim, Soul Plus (+), comes with a 161-horsepower, 2.0-liter I-4 engine. At the top of the line, drivers can enjoy 201 horsepower with the turbocharged 1.6-liter I-4. All Soul models come with front-wheel drive and available automatic transmission (standard on Plus and Exclaim). All in all, the Soul can be equipped to offer EPA-estimated 27 city and 31 highway mpg.
