Kia stands behind its work with an incredible warranty

How long do Kia cars last?

A lot of people consider Kia vehicles when they’re car shopping, and why not? They’re known for their affordability, unique styling, and great features. But one question remains for many folks who are looking at not only short-term but long-term value: How long do Kia cars last? Today, we’ll tell you a little bit about the Kia warranty for a clue as to how much longevity Kia expects you will get from the excellent lineup of automobiles they offer.

Do a little research, and you’ll find that automaker after automaker offers a  limited powertrain warranty on their vehicle something to the tune of 60 months/60,000 miles. Why so short, Kia wonders? Are other automakers worried that after that amount of time or mileage has passed, repairs or replacements will become necessary too frequently? Not a very comforting thought if you’re planning on owning your vehicle long after it’s paid off, right? That’s why Kia comes through with a truly superior powertrain warranty: 10 years, 100,000 miles. That’s double the length of time or nearly double the mileage. They’re not just inching past the competition – they are whizzing by. Why? Because Kia vehicle are manufactured to last, so the company’s not afraid to back them up.

In addition to that, there’s a 5 year/60,000 mile limited basic warranty, a 5-year/100,000 mile limited anti-perforation warranty, and a 5-year/60,000 mile roadside assistance plan (some popular automakers don’t even offer one of these at all, let alone such an extensive one!)

At Palmen Kia, we’re proud to sell Kia vehicles for many reasons, but a huge selling point we’re happy to point out to our prospective customers are these warranties that give you peace of mind and reassurance that your investment is backed up. And that’s confidence that goes a long way (in more ways than one).
