The Kia Soul has been featured on this Kelley Blue Book list for six consecutive years for a reason. It blends design, function, and value like no other vehicle on the market. For 2017, it’s getting a little extra pep in its step with the addition of a turbocharged engine.
“We’ve really upped the fun factor this year with a new turbocharged model and its personality is infectious regardless of which model a customer buys. Trims and Engine Options Available for 2017
The 2017 Kia Soul has a trio of trim options available, each with their own standard engine. The Base trim is equipped with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine producing 130 horsepower and 118 pound-feet of torque. One step up from that is the 2017 Soul’s Soul Plus trim coming standard with a 2.0-liter engine pumping out 161 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque. The top-of-the-line Exclaim trim features an all-new for 2017 1.6-liter turbocharged engine. This engine packs a punch with 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque.
