2017 Kia Sorento All-Wheel Drive Availability
The 2017 Kia Sorento does not come standard with all-wheel drive on any trim levels. However, it is an option you can upgrade to if you would like your model to have it. On most trim levels, you have the choice to select either a standard front-wheel drive powertrain, or an all-wheel drive option. Almost all trim levels offer this as an option, including the LX, EX, LX V6, EX V6, SX V6 or the SXL V6. The only trim level that does not offer you all-wheel drive as a powertrain option is the base L trim. Giving you the option of powertrain allows you to have more control over deciding with configuration is best for you while optimizing between capability and efficiency.
2017 Kia Sorento All-Wheel Drive Specs
2017 Kia Sorento models equipped with all-wheel drive are even more capable and comfortable. Even without all-wheel drive, the Kia Sorento is capable of towing up to 3,500 pounds when it is properly equipped. Add on the all-wheel drive system, and you can tow up to 5,000 pounds when your model is properly equipped. That is enough power to take along a small boat, trailer with gear or even a couple of jet skis or snowmobiles! The Sorento is efficient as well, reaching an EPA-estimated 21 city/25 highway/22 combined MPG.
